Sharon McKinney, M.A.

Sharon graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling in 2003. Sharon also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Sharon is currently in her pre-licensing phase of clinical training and is under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor at Christian Counseling Associates.

Sharon holds the following licenses and certifications:

  • Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC)

Sharon has experience working with individuals, families, adolescents, and groups in a variety of settings that include:

  • Education/Teacher

Sharon works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-focused Brief Therapy. Sharon specializes in the following areas:
