Reneé graduated from Medaille College in 2008 with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. Reneé is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Reneé holds the following licenses and certifications: Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor (State of West Virginia), Licensed Professional Counselor (State of West Virginia), Licensed Professional Counselor (State of Pennsylvania), Certified Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Counselor and Certified Trauma and Crisis Response Counselor.
Reneé has 13 years of supervisory, and 19 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings:
- Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
- Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services
- Child and Adolescent Educational Programs
- Developmental Disability Care
Reneé works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Reneé is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. She employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is also trained in Trauma and Crisis Response. Renee specializes in addressing the following areas:
- ADHD
- Autism
- Spiritual Issues
- Trauma
- Critical Incident Debriefing
- Family Relationships
Reneé integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles in each session. She is an active church member and volunteers in the choir and leads a small group. Reneé serves on the Christian Education and Outreach Committee and is a member of the Commission on Ministry of the Pittsburgh Presbytery.
