Matt Essigmann, M.S.
Matt graduated from Davis College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Religious Education. He graduated from Clarks Summit University in 2023 with a Master of Science in Counseling. He is in the provisionally licensed phase of clinical training and is under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor at Christian Counseling Associates. Matt holds the following licenses and certifications: Provisionally Licensed Counselor (State of West Virginia).
Matt has experience working with clients in a variety of settings that include:
- Community Based Mental Health
- College Admissions Counselor
- Group Private Practice
Matt works with individuals from across the lifespan. He is skilled at working with individuals, pre-teens, and adults. Matt is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, he employs a Faith-Based approach using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Matt specializes in the following areas:

- Marital and Premarital
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder
- Career Counseling
- Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Matt integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. He is an active church member.
