Lisa Hosack, Ph.D., L.C.S.W.
Dr. Hosack graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. In 1993, Dr. Hosack obtained a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Illinois – Chicago. She earned her Doctorate in Social Work from Michigan State University in 2012. Dr. Hosack is the Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of Social Work at Grove City College. She holds the following license:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker – State of Pennsylvania
Dr. Hosack has over twenty years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings that include:
- Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
- Child Welfare
- Inpatient Mental Health Counseling
- Professor at Grove City College
- Director of College Counseling Center
- Clinical Social Work
Dr. Hosack works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families. Dr. Hosack is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior, Family Systems, and Psychodynamic Therapies. Dr. Hosack specializes in the following areas:
