Laura Hoffman, M.A. is a Nationally Certified Counselor (N.C.C.) and a graduate from Geneva College holding a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Chi Sigma Iota (the national academic and professional honor society for counseling), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
Before joining Christian Counseling Associates, Laura worked at the Cognitive Behavior Institute where she served many different individuals, couples, and families seeking help for a wide variety of struggles. She has experience treating varied disorders, difficult life transitions, and relational stressors through a faith-based worldview.
Areas of Specialty:
Laura is skilled in working with anxiety, panic, depression, grief, anger, and trauma. She works from a strength-based, cognitive behavioral approach along with spiritual integration.
Laura is currently seeing clients in our Grove City and Zelienople locations. She has both daytime and evening hours available.
