Kent graduated from Franciscan University in 2008 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He graduated from Plattsburgh State University College of New York in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education.

Kent holds the following license:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor, State of Pennsylvania

Professional Experience:

Kent has 13 years of professional counseling experience and over 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings that include:

  • Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
  • Marriage and Family Counseling
  • Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation
  • Public School Education

Areas of Specialty:

Kent works with individuals over the age of 13. He is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Kent employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Kent specializes in helping an individual, couple, or family explore a need for emotional or spiritual healing and growth while helping them discover their highest potential in a Christ-led process. He is skilled at treating:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Post-traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Substance Use and Addiction
  • Marital Conflict

Kent integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. Kent attends worship regularly, and he enjoys playing music to minister to parishes in Northern Beaver County. Kent is a core member of the Beaver County Chapter of Theology on Tap.
