Dr. Lockley has a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) Degree from Chestnut Hill College’s Clinical Psychology program. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Carlow University and also a Master’s of Science Degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University. His pre-doctoral internship was completed at Northeast Treatment Centers in Philadelphia, a non-profit providing therapy for adults and children as well as level of care evaluations for children in the Philadelphia school system receiving wraparound services. He completed his two year neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship in an adult inpatient psychiatric hospital as a part of a medical group that provided medical and psychology services within several inpatient hospitals in the state of Indiana.
Dr. Lockley has 10 years of experience in the mental health field in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals, residential treatment facilities, non-profits, preschools, secondary schools, and outpatient centers working with clients from as young as 6 months to 101 years of age. Services provided have included individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, psychological assessment, consulting, program development, and level of care evaluations.

Dr. Lockley’s areas of specialty include anxiety, mood disorders, family therapy, couples therapy, dementia, domestic violence, personality challenges, impulse control disorders, reconciliation to the church and the family, and psychoeducation integrated with Christian education. He operates from a blend of object relations and family systems, but views the family as a gift from God in teaching us how to live together in peace.
