Corry Wise, B.A.

Corry graduated from Thiel College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.  She is in the internship phase of her training and under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor at Christian Counseling Associates.

Corry holds the following certification and professional membership:

  • Certified Symbis Assessment Administrator
  • American Association of Christian Counselors, Member

Professional Experience:

Corry is currently in her internship phase of clinical training at Christian Counseling Associates. In addition to her current training, she has six years of experience in mental health counseling in the following areas:

  • Clinic Based Mental Health Counseling
  • Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation 
  • Adolescent Shelter and Placement Environments
  • Behavioral Consultation

Areas of Specialty:

Corry works with individuals from across the lifespan including children, adolescents and adults.  She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.  

Corry is skilled at providing empirically-validated, faith-based approaches for most issues including marital and premarital counseling, addiction, alcohol abuse, anxiety, depression, codependency, drug abuse and women’s issues. 

Corry integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles in each session. Corry is an active church member and volunteers as a women’s bible study group leader and leads a group for parents of teenagers.
