Terry graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, in 1988 with a Master of Social Work. She is also a Clinical Supervisor for Christian Counseling Associates serving the Ohio region. Terry holds the following license: Licensed Independent Social Worker- Supervisor (LISW-S), Licensed Independent Chemical, Dependency Counselor (LICDC) and Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACA).
Terry has over thirty years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings that include:
- Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
- Adult, Child and Family Services
- Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation
- Partial Hospitalization
- Dependency and Codependency Groups
- Psychological Testing
- Outpatient Behavioral Services
Terry works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families. Terry is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Modification Therapy, Play Therapy, and Faith-based Therapy. She is also trained in chemical dependency and can provide supervision to individuals pursuing their LISW.
