Judy Christian, L.P.C.
Judy graduated from Moody Theological Seminary in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Indiana University. Judy holds the following licenses and certifications: Licensed Professional Counselor (State of Pennsylvania), Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Judy has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings that include:
- Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
- Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation
- Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling
Judy works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Judy is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. She employs a Faith-Based approach using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
Judy has a passion for working with college-aged women as well as assisting her clients in the areas of spiritual development and discipleship. Judy specializes in addressing the following:
- Adoption, Parenting, Family Conflict
- Trauma
- Depression and Suicidal Ideation
- Anxiety
- Child and Adolescent Issues
Judy integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. Judy has over 30 years of experience with CRU. Her years with CRU have afforded her the opportunity to gain extensive international and cross-cultural experiences.
