Shawna Hoffman is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Shawna’s undergraduate degree was earned at Valley Forge University where she majored in Psychology. While attending Valley Forge, she gained extensive training in Christian theology. Shawna used her training and education to develop a reliable clinical counseling approach which aims to be Christ-led and Biblically centered.
Shawna has diverse clinical experience in school-based mental health and outpatient counseling working with children, adolescents, and adults. Shawna has been involved in local church ministries for many years as her faith has been a central part of her life since she was a young child.
Shawna is skilled in dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma and crisis, as well as a wide range of clinical issues. Shawna also has experience working with Autism Spectrum disorders. She integrates the Christian faith into standard clinical approaches including Cognitive Behavioral and Reality therapy.
Shawna sees clients in our Ebensburg, Johnstown and Windber Christian Counseling Centers and is available for day and evening appointments.
