Michele Majcher, L.C.S.W.
Michele graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School for Social Work in 2007 with a Master of Social Work. Michele holds the following licenses and certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (State of Pennsylvania), Licensed Home and School Visitor (State of Pennsylvania), American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), National Association of Social Workers (NASW) , Certified Family Based Therapist and Certified Student Assistant Liaison.
Michele has 14 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings that include:
- Hospital social work
- Community based mental health practice
- Home-health/medical social worker.
- Group Mental Health practice
- School based Social Worker
Michele works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families and is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a Faith-Based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and Psychoeducational approaches. Michele specializes in addressing the following areas:

- Developmental Disabilities
- Spiritual Issues
- Sexual abuse
- Elder issues
- Trauma
- Crisis intervention

- Child Abuse and Neglect
- Attachment Issues
Michele integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. She is an active church member and dedicated teacher at her church.
