Marisa Bridge, L.P.C.
Marisa graduated from Westminster College in 2019 with A Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She earned her Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health and Addiction Counseling in 2021 from Youngstown State University and is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Counseling & Psychological Studies at Regent University. Marisa holds the following licenses and certifications: Licensed Professional Counselor (State of Ohio), Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant and EMDR Certified.
Marisa has experience working with adolescents and adults in the following settings:
- Private Group Practice
- Outpatient Community Counseling
- Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation
- Faith Community
Marisa works with adolescents and adults. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Marisa is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. She employs a faith-based approach using Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Informed care. Marisa has experience in addressing the following areas:
- Anger Management
- Depression
- Self Esteem
- ADHD
- Substance Abuse and Addiction
- Trauma, Abuse and PTSD
- Workplace Issues
- Anxiety
Marisa integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. She is an active church member.
