Maggie graduated from Youngstown State University in 2016 with a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Youngstown State University in 2008. Maggie holds the following licenses and certifications:
- Licensed Professional Counselor, State of Pennsylvania
- Licensed Professional Counselor with Supervision, State of Ohio
- Certified Dancing Mindfulness Facilitator

She employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical (DBT), Family and Marital Systems, Gottman Method, and Trauma Focused Therapy.
