Kristy Nutt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania and a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio. Kristy earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Kent State University in 2004 and her Masters of Social Work from Ohio University in 2006.
Over the past 15 years, Kristy has gained experience in several different settings including pediatric and adult hospitals, in-home family therapy, and out-patient community mental health. Kristy has worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, parenting problems, medical/health concerns, eating disorders, and substance abuse.

Kristy believes in a strengths-based approach utilizing a Christian perspective that allows her to encourage and guide clients. She also incorporates cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution focused techniques.
Kristy is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She sees clients in the Butler, Gibsonia and Zelionople Christian Counseling Centers.
