Kristy Nutt, L.C.S.W.
Kristy earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Kent State University in 2004 and her Master of Social Work from Ohio University in 2006. She serves as a Regional Coordinator for CCA Butler area and holds the following licenses and certifications:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), State of Pennsylvania
- Licensed Independent Social Worker – Supervisor (LISW-S), State of Ohio
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, (LICSW) State of West Virginia
- CCTSW – Certified Clinical Transplant Social Worker
- CCTP – Certified Clinical Trauma Professional
Kristy currently serves as a regional coordinator for our Butler area. Over the past 15 years, she has worked with clients in a variety of settings including:
- Pediatric and adult hospitals
- In-home family therapy
- Out-patient community mental health
- Mental health group practice
Kristy works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Kristy is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach that incorporates strengths-based, cognitive behavioral therapies and solution focused techniques. Kristy is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Her areas of specialty include:
- Depression
- Anxiety,
- Bipolar
- ADHD
- Trauma
- Relationship issues
- Parenting problems
- Medical/health concerns
- Eating disorders
- Substance abuse
Kristy integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. She is an active church member.
