Kim Richardson, M.A.

Kim graduated from Geneva College in 2021 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Geneva College. She is a member of the American Counseling Association. Kim is currently in her pre-licensing phase of clinical training and is under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor at Christian Counseling Associates.

Kim has several years of experience working with adults, adolescents and children in a variety of settings that include:

  • Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
  • Crisis Counseling
  • Support Services in Disaster and Crisis Management
  • Volunteer Coordination
  • Adoption Advocacy

Areas of Specialty:

Kim works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Kim is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach using Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Kim integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles in each session. Kim has been an active church member and community-based volunteer for over 25 years.
