Kaitlin Simonette, L.P.C.
Kaitlin graduated from Geneva College in 2014 with a Master of Arts in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family. Kaitlin is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. In addition to her counseling work, she serves as a Regional Coordinator for CCA Cranberry Township area, and holds the following license and professional memberships: Licensed Professional Counselor (State of Pennsylvania), National Certified Counselor.
Kaitlin has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings that include:
- Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
- Intensive Residential Treatment
- Mobile Therapy
Kaitlin works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Kaitlin is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. She employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. She is also trained in Trauma-informed care.
Kaitlin specializes in helping families in crisis who have an adolescent or child struggling with eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-injury, or suicidal ideation. She is passionate about helping parents build stronger relationships and overcome attachment issues and family relational challenges.
Kaitlin integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles in each session. Kaitlin is an active church member.
