Diane is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. She is a member of The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Diane graduated with honors in 2000 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In 2003, she earned her Master of Art in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University. In 2006, she attended Word of Life Bible Institute in the Philippines. She was in the School of Biblical Studies program and was involved in evangelistic activities and missions.
Diane has 17 years of experience working in a behavioral hospital counseling children, adolescents, and young adults. She has worked in the residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient programs. She has provided individual, group, and family counseling.
Diane is committed to helping individuals and families experience the healing power of God as they face life’s struggles. She has experience in counseling issues such as depression, anxiety, anger problems, relationship issues, eating disorders, self-injury, grief, ADHD, behavioral problems, substance abuse, and physical/emotional/sexual abuse. Diane has a passion for helping the brokenhearted find hope in God. She wants to be His instrument in helping marriages and families be healthy and strong. Diane integrates the Christian faith with various counseling skills and techniques. She often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in counseling. She has used EMDR as well as Trauma-Focused CBT when counseling those with trauma issues.
