Deborah Erskine, L.P.C., N.C.C.
Deborah earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2018. Deborah holds the following license: Licensed Professional Counselor (State of Pennsylvania), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
Deborah has several years of experience working with clients in a variety of settings:
- Community mental health
- Substance abuse programs
- Group mental health practice
- Peer counselor and medical advocate for Pittsburgh Action Against Rape
- Church based counseling
Deborah works with individuals from across the lifespan. She is skilled at working with individuals, couples, and families. Deborah is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. She employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and also Art Therapy when appropriate. Deborah specializes in addressing the following areas:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Marriage Counseling
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Self-harm
- Sexual identity and gender concerns
- Trauma
- Self-esteem issues

- Chronic illness and disability
Deborah integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. She is an active church member and volunteers in a variety of ministries including the praise team, youth leadership, and facilitating women’s ministry.
