Charlotte Swiger, M.A.

Charlotte graduated from West Virginia University in 2002 with a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Public Administration. Charlotte is currently in the pre-licensing phase of clinical training, and is under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor at Christian Counseling Associates.

Charlotte holds the following certifications:

  • Administration of Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI)
  • Administration of Strong’s Interest Inventory Assessments (CPP, Inc.)

Professional Experience:

Charlotte has experience working with clients in a variety of settings that include:

  • Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
  • Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation
  • Partial Hospitalization
  • Crisis Rehabilitation and Stabilization

Areas of Specialty:

Charlotte is skilled at working with individuals over the age of 18, couples, families and groups. Charlotte is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically she employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Behavior Modification.  Charlotte specializes in:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Workplace problems 

Charlotte integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. She is an active member of her local church,  serves as a volunteer in various positions including lay counselor and leading a small group for women.
