Ben Saenz, M.S.
Ben graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and graduated from Capella University in 2023 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Ben is currently a Provisionally Licensed Counselor at Christian Counseling Associates.
He has experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings that include:
- Summer Camps for Adolescents
- Student Ministry
- Adult Ministry
- Intramural Sports
Clinical Group Counseling Practice
Ben works with individuals from adolescents to adults. He is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, he employs a faith-based approach using Family Systems Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Ben specializes in the following areas:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Family Conflict
- Spiritual Issues
- Mood Disorders
- Relationship Issues
- Premarital Counseling
- Men’s issues
Ben integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. He is an active church member and ministry leader.
