Barbara graduated from Clarks Summit University in 1978 with A B.S. in Biblical Studies. She also graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2019 with a Master of Science in Counseling. She holds the following license:
- Licensed Professional Counselor. – State of Ohio
Barbara has experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings that include:
- Outpatient Mental Health Counseling
- Administrative Assistant
- Residential Care Home
- Project Management
Barbara works with individuals from across the lifespan. Barbara is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Barbara specializes in the following areas:

- Addiction

Barbara integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. Barbara is a life-long active church member and serves as a volunteer in various positions, including working with children, youth, and Women’s Bible study.
