Amanda is currently pursuing an M.A. in Professional Counseling at Liberty University, from which she received a B.A. in Psychology and in Christian Counseling, graduating summa cum laude.
Amanda has 14 years of experience in the healthcare field, including three years at Mercy House of Meadville, where she facilitated group sessions addressing the drug and alcohol addictions of the clients.
Areas of Specialty:
Amanda’s interest is in counseling female adolescents, and adult women and seniors. Her areas of interest include: depression and anxiety, addiction issues, behavioral issues, trauma and PTSD, domestic and sexual abuse, and grief counseling. The therapeutic modalities she employs with her clients include CBT, behavior modification, motivational interviewing, person-centered, psycho-educational, reality and solution-focused therapies, as well as faith-based counseling.
Amanda sees clients at two Pennsylvania locations: McKean and Saegertown.
