Alicia Conklin, B.A.
Alicia graduated from Liberty University with an Associates of Arts degree in Christian Counseling. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from ITT Technical Institute. Alicia is pursuing her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Alicia is currently in her internship phase of clinical training and is under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Supervisor at CCA.
Alicia has experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings that include:
- Outpatient Clinical Settings
- Drug and Alcohol Recovery Center
Alicia works with individuals from adolescents to adults. She is trained to work with most areas of clinical disorder. Clinically, she employs a faith-based approach using Family Systems Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Alicia specializes in the following areas:
- Anxiety
- Career Counseling
- Depression
- Autism Spectrum
- Family Conflict
- Spiritual Issues
- Mood Disorders
- Relationship Issues
- Sleep Disturbance
Alicia integrates Faith-Based Counseling by incorporating biblical principles and prayer in each session. She is an active church member.
