Our Mission

Our associates are experts in the field of counseling and highly trained from accredited institutions. They are active in their local faith communities, have a heart for God, and are gifted in serving those who struggle with cognitive, emotional, and spiritual issues. Our associates are also members of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

With a staff of 100 plus counselors and over 70 locations within Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and New York, we are prepared to offer the utmost level of care. We have witnessed the great demand for Christian based counseling in the regions we serve and strive to meet this need.

Our well trained staff of counselors are certified, and licensed to provide individual, marital and family counseling in all of our locations. In addition, we are able to consult with pastors, church leaders, and lay counselors to help strengthen their response to the needs of their local congregations. Finally, we seek to re-invest in the local communities in which we serve through providing quality events, local workshops, faith-based continuing education and other services.

Ultimately, we seek to serve our clients with empathy and wisdom, in a Spirit led process, sharing the timeless truth of Scripture. Our counseling approach uses skills and techniques that are clinically effective, while rooted in the Christian faith. Our counseling is the alternative to the community mental health system. More than any hospital or clinic, the church is the place of healing, growth and rich relationship. Christian Counseling Associates seeks to be an extension of the church, reaching out to the community to provide help and healing from life’s most difficult struggles.
